At this year’s 64th ICCA Congress, held in the vibrant city of Porto, the EU CVB Network had the honor of presenting itself to association representatives attending the congress. The presentation took place at the Hilton Porto Gaia hotel, where participants had the opportunity to learn more about the network, its mission, and the destinations that form it.
This year’s ICCA Congress was particularly special because it was hosted in Porto, one of the member cities of the EU CVB Network. The collaboration among the partner destinations was clearly reflected throughout the congress, and the presentation at Hilton Porto Gaia was one of the network’s key highlights. The event attracted an impressive audience of more than 80 association representatives.
Following the presentation, the team organized an informal networking gathering and a visit to Cálem Wine Cellars, featuring a tasting of Portuguese wines and regional products, where the association representatives and the network team enjoyed an authentic taste of Porto’s culture and hospitality. The relaxed atmosphere encouraged meaningful conversations and new connections.
In appreciation of their participation, all association representatives received a carefully selected gift from the EU CVB Network – umbrellas made from recycled materials, symbolising the network’s commitment to sustainability and thoughtful collaboration.
