Gothenburg Welcomes Global Healthcare Meetings at M&I Healthcare Forum 2025
In late June 2025, the vibrant city of Gothenburg hosted the annual M&I Healthcare Forum, an international event dedicated to professionals in healthcare and life science meetings. Held at the centrally located Scandic Göteborg Central from 29 June to 2 July, the forum brought together top-tier planners, buyers, suppliers, and destinations. The programme featured an intensive schedule of pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings, buyers and suppliers engaged in 35 supplier-led sessions and around 120 supplier matches overall.
Showcasing Gothenburg’s Strengths
The Gothenburg Convention Bureau, together with local partners, took the opportunity to showcase what males the city an attractive and forward-thinking meeting destination, from cutting-edge life science and sustainable venues to genuine hospitality and memorable experiences. With a strong foundation in university and hospital infrastructure, along with eco-friendly and accessible conference facilities, Gothenburg is well-positioned as a leading destination for healthcare-related events.
A Valuable Experience for Participants
We were proud to have two of our Network Destinations represented and to connect with top healthcare MICE professionals. Representatives from both Gothenburg Convention Bureau and Salzburg Convention Bureau took part in pre-scheduled meetings and networking sessions. They reported gaining fresh perspectives and inspiration, reaffirming the forum’s value in strengthening global healthcare MICE connections.
